Use Cyber Monday Marketing Materials – Swipe Files
I LOVE cyber Monday but for a far different reason then most — I watch all the different promotions, the marketing copy, emails and the different ads. Think about it — companies have spent MILLIONS of dollars to have these ads perfectly crafted to convert people to buyers.
I then “borrow” some of their materials for use sometime in the future. I call this a swipe file. I then pass these ideas over to our in-house copywriters who take it from there. It helps them quite a bit as copywriters tend to do better when referencing something else to start with. It also gives these copywriters some ideas as to what I’m looking for.

So instead of just shopping today, do some searching for great copy!
